Statement
The purpose of this series of pictures was to show the natural beauty of the world we live in. I am very passionate about nature and preserving it for years to come and I hope I got this point across. I wanted to show a landscape that a lot of people rarely get to see. Colorado has been my home for the past 7 years and wanted to share its beauty. There are many photographers that inspire me, but I have always been a fan of Ansel Adams, and that's who I took inspiration from for this project. His simple style and black and white photography catches my eye every time. After looking at these pictures, my hope is that the observer has more of an appreciation for the great outdoors and to look for beauty in everything.
